One year in California

Ladies and gentlemen, this weekend marked the one-year anniversary of my love affair with the great state of California. And to mark the event, Matthew, Kasia, Eddie, Victoria, and I road-tripped down the Pacific Coast Highway and found a hidden-away beach a few miles down from Half Moon Bay, where we had to rappel our way down. It was a gorgeous, wide expanse of sand, hugged by cliffs. Eat your heart out, New York: It's late October and we swam in the ocean!
